To be born in Wales with music in your blood and with poetry in your soul is a privilege indeed.

Gludy House has been in the Cavenagh family for generations. If you ask any of the locals around Brecon, just two miles away, they'll tell you their various memories of Dr. Cavenagh -the town doctor from the 1950s to 1990s.

With many parts of the house still featuring its original 15th Century woodwork and stone walls, there is a wonderful feel of history and family heritage throughout each room.

The stories and legends from Gludy House are as plentiful as they are enchanting, for this is a place where adventures are born.

In 2017, the house underwent a full renovation to enhance the classic attributes with contemporary fittings for today's residents and tomorrow's guests.

The Cavenagh brothers all grew up here and each agree that it hasn't lost an ounce of its charm. The exposed beams still stripe the ceilings on each floor; the clay tiles are still warmed by a log burner in the hearth; and the Beacons still stand majestically in the distance -exactly how things were since they could remember.

"Gludy is a beautifully presented and very spacious, light and airy property, set in a lovely rural location in Cradoc, just a short distance from Brecon. The views of the Brecon Beacons are absolutely stunning and no doubt, best enjoyed from the hot tub!"
